New cell phone arrived, activated, works, all that.

Same number as before. Now I get to put in all my numbers from the old one. Joy.

I would be happier about this if I wasn't feeling moderately awful. Was running a fever yesterday, still feel achy painy. And I had to go to work. Yay.

Bet you if you posted to lj that you needed to reseed your phone, and had all comments screened, you'd end up with more phone numbers than you had before. :)

It's probably too late, but can't you just copy everything to your memory chip, move the chip from the old phone to the new phone, and copy the list to the new phone? Then you'd just have to remember to put the new chip back into the new phone.

Seriously. I just did this a few weeks ago.

ha ha ha you make funny american joke!

Memory chip? My old phone was over five years old.

Not sure, but I don't think the new one has one, either, though it appears to have a USB port...

Re: ha ha ha you make funny american joke!

THe memory chip is hidden under the battery.

Re: ha ha ha you make funny american joke!

Nope. No sign of it.

Let me clarify that the old phone is not only nearly six years old, but a different manufacturer and model than my new one. So I doubt that the chip if any would be compatible anyway.

No sick you allowed.

Re: Sadness of Sad

Well, I'm feeling a bit better today, anyway.

That makes me happier! :)
