Yep - and happy to do it. I already devote a certain amount of time and money to an organization that serves our community. We donate to the food pantry (today in fact) several times a year, we collect for needy families for Christmas, we hold a blood drive each year, host an activities day for a preschool run by United Cerebral Palsy, donate to the local children's hospital, donate to the scouts, give out books to children, and more. I am also a member of Amnesty International. I give when I can to charities and the homeless.

I do unfortunately work for one of the companies on their "naughty list" - but employment here is limited. On the upside I can say that our local store collects for the food pantry, collects for employees in need (anonymously), sponsors several local groups by hosting chicken bar-b-cues for them, mitten trees, angel trees and so on. Not enough to counter corporate guilt but it does help locally.
