So, when Cherry Hill Seminary posted their latest catalog, I looked through it... and then I emailed my department head:

Me: I think I've fulfilled the requirements for my certificate*
DH: Let me check
DH: Yes, you have!
Me: Woo hoo!**

And then the Dean of Students emails me and tells me that she thinks I'm the first student to graduate since she took the post, and they want to hold a ceremony for me at an appropriate venue.

So, I got the semi-official word today. My graduation ceremony will be held at the Sacred Space Conference, on Saturday, February 26th***, at 10:00 AM.****

If you're planning on attending Sacred Space, I'd be honored to have you bear witness to this. And if you feel like coming up just to see it, I'd certainly be honored (but please don't feel obligated). I am told that you won't have to pay the day rate (though the conference itself is very good, and I'm considering attending for the weekend).

More details to come.

**** possibly with a reception to follow

Oh congratulations!!!!

And I have to say, this adds to the wonderful things happening to wonderful folks aura of the day! Sam rang the graduation bell at school today. Then later on, I needled into the body for the first time.

HUGS and love to you!

I have to day I'm very happy for, and more than a little proud of, you! I have penciled it into my day planner and would be honored to see your Big Day.

Congratulations! I know you really busted your butt in this and I am glad you have seen it all the way through!

Congratulations! Excellent! (Unfortunately, I will be on a plane on the 26th, so I will be unable to attend.)

That's wonderful! Congratulations!

I won't be at Sacred Space (why are there so many things going on the same month?), but I'm sure your graduation ceremony will be suitably impressive.

Congratulations, you ground-breaker, you!

Congratulations! Woot! Whee! Woo-Hoo!

Nice - congratulations!

Congrats! I know you will use it to make the world a better place.
