::sigh::

The first publisher rejected "The Sword of Light". On to the next one...

::sigh::

I'm really not too upset about this. I wasn't really expecting anything on the first go-round. But still...

Is this the one that I read? Did you finish part 2?

"part 2" is a separate novel (prospective title: "Island of the Strong Door") and no, haven't even started it yet. Working on "Nekiya" (I read the prologue at Bardi-Gras...)

And lest I seem insensitive, I'm sorry to hear that. Gregg keeps going on and on about how when I finish mine I can get it published and I'm just like "Man, that makes me nervous."

*hugs*

It seems to me that real writers get to paper their bedrooms in rejection slips, in addition to actually getting published. Good on you for keeping going, and for actually sending it out to folks. I mean, mine's still sitting in the drawer, waiting for me to third draft it...

Well, foo, but I'm glad you're sending it out again.

A small bump in the road, love. Keep going... we've got your back! {{{HUGS}}}
