1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

What do you consider your greatest flaw?

Hmmm... I have a really hard time focusing, living in the moment, etc. This makes it frustratingly hard to get into a trance state, or turn off my inner monologue. It often makes it very hard to concentrate on my job. It makes it very hard for me to stop fretting about things, often to the point of insomnia. Combine this with a tendency to bottle things up and you get occasional bad mojo.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

That's really hard to say... I kind of hold with the Havamal-ish advice to judge no life until it's lived. So far? There are some creative projects that I'm inordinately proud of, but really I think that what I've done to build the life I have right now, with all the love I have surrounding me, is achievement enough for now.

Whom do you wish you could emulate, and why?

That tends to change over time. It usually tends to be the polymaths that I admire the most- people like Tolkien, Crowley, Jung, who charted their own course through life and left a changed world behind them. Of living people, right now Robin Williamson occurs to me- someone who has become a Celtic bard of the old school, renewing a nearly-lost tradition.

Are you naked?

Under my clothes, always. Since I have tattoos now, does that make me more or less naked if I'm unclothed? To diverge a little bit... I always thought I'd be terribly body-shy, but my first Markland skinny-dipping party disproved that. It's more the company... if they're body-shy, I tend to cover up more. I tend to wear clothes much of the time at home, though... there's nothing like having cats to make you want to cover the goods.

Coffee or tea?

"I like coffee, I like tea, I like the Java Jive and it likes me." Coffee, actually. Though I liked tea better when I discovered the British way of drinking it. And I love chai, and the Tibetan way of preparing it (with butter!) is actually oddly good.
